SafeWax at the ISM 2026

SafeWax Featured in Plenary Lecture at ISM2026

Today, Prof. Boaz Pokroy, coordinator of the SafeWax project, delivered a plenary lecture at the 59th Annual Meeting of the Israel Society for Microscopy (ISM2026), held at the Expo Tel Aviv International Convention Center.

As a premier interdisciplinary hub, the conference gathered leading scientists, clinicians, and industry experts spanning materials science, nanotechnology, and advanced microscopy.

In his address, Prof. Pokroy showcased recent breakthroughs in bio-inspired materials and structure function relationships. A key highlight was the development of SafeWax our sustainable, multifunctional coating technology modeled after natural plant surfaces to enhance crop protection and environmental resilience.
